I want to encourage as many of you as possible to attend Fr. McCullough’s formal installation Mass on February 1. There will be a nice, brief official ceremony conducted by the Dean of the area, Fr. Kyle Schnippel. The presence of the Parish Councils, staff, and parishioners are an important part of the ceremony.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to be there. Several months ago I made plans to visit the Diocese of Puerto Escondido, Mexico. I leave January 27 for a week. We have a number of St. Julie Billiart parishioners from there. This will be my third visit, and it is an excellent opportunity to be a bridge between our parishioners and their families. They would love to go back for a visit but, if they don’t have papers, they cannot.
It has been good to have been with you these months. Again, I want to say what a fine pastoral staff and group of active parishioners Fr. McCullough has to work with. I join my prayers for Fr. McCullough and the Winton Wyoming Region with all of yours.
