Title:         Maintenance Technician
Location:  Winton Wyoming Pastoral Region
                   (Our Lady of the Rosary, St. James of the Valley, and St. Matthias the Apostle)

Primary Function:   Perform a variety of maintenance tasks in all regional buildings including churches, office buildings and school buildings. This will include maintaining the overall good condition and appearance of the internal and external areas of the buildings.
More specific duties of the job include plumbing repairs (including faucet replacement), painting/staining, minor HVAC issues (including filter replacement), carpentry, minor electrical repairs (such as replacing light bulbs, light fixtures, ballasts, and switches), ground maintenance including snow removal, and other tasks as directed, including keeping the maintenance shops in a safe and orderly condition.
In addition, a variety of custodial duties will be required including: clean hallways (including floor waxing and carpet vacuuming), clean restrooms (including spot cleaning of walls and toilet partitions), clean (and disinfect) drinking fountains, clean offices, clean building entrances including glass, doors and hardware; empty waste baskets and garbage cans.
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with vendors and service contractors.
The maintenance technician must also be self-motivated, thereby taking ownership of his duties and responsibilities, while continually demonstrating good customer service to the parishioners and staff of the three parishes.

Position Requirements:   Required qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years prior building maintenance experience or equivalent training, and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.   
Position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Employment is contingent on successful completion of all background checks and VIRTUS requirements.

Work Environment:   Exposure to climate changes, evening and weekend work may be required and on call availability may be required.
