Meet Fr. Christian Cone-Lombarte Dear parishioners, I am very excited to begin ministering at the Queen of Apostles Family of Parishes in July! I have been ordained for four years (I am a classmate of Fr. Stegbauer) and have had two assignments thus far. I first served as vicar at a family of four parishes in Fort Recovery for two years and am currently finishing out my second year as vicar at St. Ignatius of Loyola.
Before starting my path to the priesthood, I grew up in the environment of the Air Force. My father, Doug, is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. His first assignment was to Zaragoza, Spain, where he met and married my mother, Maria. I was born there and, as a consequence, enjoy dual citizenship. I was also blessed to have learned both Spanish and English from my parents. The Air Force is also how I came to be in the Archdiocese. My family came to Wright Patterson AFB my sophomore year in high school, and Fairborn has been home ever since. I look forward to introducing myself more fully in person and to get to know all of you soon! Until then, know that you are in my daily prayers and please keep me in yours. In Christ, Fr. Christian Cone-Lombarte
Fr. Stegbauer’s New Assignment On July 1, the Archbishop has asked me to be the parochial vicar of the Westside Catholic (SW4) Family of Parishes in Price Hill. It includes St. Lawrence, St. Theresa of Avila, St. William, and Resurrection of Our Lord. So, I won’t be too far away! As a bonus, I will be a very short drive away from the Serenelli Project’s property in Sedamsville. Please know of my prayers for all of you and I ask that you please join me in praying for my future parishioners—that we all may remain open to the Holy Spirit and following His will for the salvation of souls. In Christ, Fr. Stegbauer
