Children’s Liturgy of the Word
We are looking for volunteers to help with Children’s Liturgy of the Word. We have not offered this ministry at OLR for a couple of years now and we are hoping to restart it there and also begin it at St James and possibly at St Matthias as well. CLOW gives children the opportunity to hear the readings of the mass in a way they can better relate. The volunteers in this ministry lead the children through this experience during the Sunday Mass. We hope to offer this ministry at one or possibly two Sundays a month. There will be a training session offered for volunteers on Thursday evening December 10th at 7:00. This training will take place at St James of the Valley where we will begin our meeting in the church. Please contact Dave Nissen if you are interested in helping in this ministry.
