Question: How do I contact Parish Council, clergy and staff ? Answer: Contacting Parish Council just got easier! Each parish now has a dedicated email address you can use to reach your Parish Council members: [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. Listed in the bulletin under "Contact Information," you can use it anytime to send an email and all Parish Council members will receive the message. This is designed to be an easier way for parishioners to communicate with Parish Council. Your message will be automatically sent to all Parish Council members. Email addresses and direct dial phone numbers for clergy and staff are listed on page 10 of the bulletin and on the WWPR website. In addition, http://wintonwyomingpr.org/contact-us-1 features a fillable contact form you can submit online. Your message will be directed to the right person. Still not sure where to start? Call your parish office for assistance—we are here to help!
On Thursday, November 2, 7:00 pm at St. Matthias, the Winton Wyoming Pastoral Region will offer a Mass in prayer for the souls of our departed parishioners and for all the faithful departed. We pray also for those who survive the loss of someone close to them, that they be comforted in the knowledge of God’s infinite mercy and love. At the weekend Masses of October 28 & 29, the Book of Remembrance will be displayed on the altar of each Church. Parishioners are encouraged to remember the deceased by writing their names in it. Prayers will be offered at the Mass of Remembrance for those whose names are written there. Please join us at this Mass to offer prayer for the deceased and for those that mourn them.

After two months as the pastoral administrator I am coming to appreciate just how much many of you feel caught up in a whirlwind of change. That is normal for grieving people. Fr. Chris’ death was the most jarring in a series of changes for each of the three parishes of the Region. That makes me even more cautious about major changes during this time. I can certainly understand the need for stability. On the other hand, two of the three parishes were in the midst of major processes that had already gained momentum. It would be unwise to try to halt these processes.
In honor of the Feast day of Our Lady of the Rosary, the monthly Marian evening will be Monday, October 9, 6:30 pm –8:00 pm at Our Lady of the Rosary. Come join us to honor Mary as we meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary, pray together and gather for fellowship. We look forward to seeing you there!
Staff and parish councils from the three parishes met with Bishop Binzer in September. All were invited to complete a Parish Leadership Questionnaire to provide the Bishop with input. He will share this report with the Priest Personnel Board to help with the discernment of our new Pastor. Individual parish profiles were completed last week. All priests will receive an open-listing sometime in October. A priest may nominate himself or any other priest for the role. A new pastor will be named before Christmas to take over the Winton Wyoming Pastoral Region on February 1, 2018. Please pray for the discernment of who our new pastor will be, prepare his heart, mind and spirit to be open to your call. Prepare our hearts to accept your gift to us.
