When you walk with the Lord, you soon realize that all of life’s experiences prepare you for ministering to the people of God. As a deacon, I’ve been called to the life of service to the servants of God.
I was born in Reading Oh. 12-7-1953, one of nine children. The family were members of Sts. Peter & Paul where I went to grade school and then Reading High School where I met my wife of 40 years. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
I was a mechanic for 35 years the last 11 owning my own transmission repair shop. My plan was for the shop to support the family and allow me to have the time needed to do God’s work. He had other plans for me. I lost the shop when the economy crashed in 2008.
My new plan was to become a hospice chaplain. God once again had different plans. The business manager at OLR had a major stroke and I stepped in to help until he recovered. In 2017 I retired as Evangelization and Outreach Director for the Region.
