Fr. Christian and his sister were born in Zaragoza, Spain with dual citizenship. His father, originally from Michigan, joined the Air Force, was assigned to Zaragoza, and met his wife in a small town there. The family eventually moved to Washington State, California, Italy, England, and, finally, to Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton.
Finishing high school in Beavercreek and studying Mechanical Engineering at Wright State, Fr. Christian discerned the priestly calling and entered seminary at Mt. St. Mary’s of the West in Cincinnati. Ordained to the priesthood on May 18, 2019 by Archbishop Schnurr, he served as parochial vicar at the Fort Recovery Cluster of parishes as well as St. Ignatius of Loyola before coming to the Queen of Apostles family in 2023.
In his free time, Fr. Christian likes to read, to cook, and to hike.
